Characters can use a vitality replenishing items, colloquially known as "tonics". They allow characters to spend some health and convert it to vitality by utilizing ability to get a short burst of energy in return to some harm done to their bodies.
Usually tonics have different grades of health-vitality conversion, "dirty" and cheap usually restore 1d3 vitality per 1 lost health, and "clean" and pricey can give, for example, 3d3 per 1 lost health.
Most of the tonics also give temporary boosts to the next roll of basic stats, such as Body, Mind or Presence.
